DiffResolver runs entirely in your browser. We do not have a backend, and we do not collect, store, or transmit the content of any files, text, or images you process with the tools on this site.

What we do not do

  • We do not upload your files or text to any server.
  • We do not store the contents of your comparisons.
  • We do not require an account to use the tools.
  • We do not sell or trade any data about you.

What stays on your device

The tools may write small amounts of UI state to your browser's localStorage (for example, your theme preference). This data never leaves your device.

Hosting and logs

Static files for this site are served by a CDN. The CDN provider may record standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL) in transient access logs for operational and security purposes. We do not use these logs to build user profiles or to track individuals across sites.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated usage statistics, such as which pages are visited, from which country, and on what kind of device. Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar identifiers in your browser to distinguish visits. This data never includes the content of any files, text, or images you process with the tools; that content stays on your device.

Google Analytics loads only after you accept analytics cookies. Until you accept, no analytics script runs. To change your choice, use the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.

We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Third parties

Apart from Google Analytics, the site does not embed third-party analytics, advertising networks, or social trackers.

Children's privacy

The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.
